It's a wrap... my class, that is!
my fun students, prodigal husband returns and a little reminder about bike safety
I’ve been hanging out with these awesome folks on Monday nights.
This crew was part of a digital content creation class at Cal Lutheran University. We had a lot of fun, but I think we are all happy it’s a wrap... class out for the rest of the summer! We structured the class around advocacy. So we had people creating content advocating for:
organ donor programs
homeless vets
responsible (and money making) recycling
shopping local farmer’s markets
mental health
inclusion and bi-racial identity issues with Japanese-American kids
world hunger issues
professional communication/email etiquette (btw, comic sans isn’t acceptable — sadly, haha)
ditching ultra processed foods
and bike lanes/safer biking - yippee!
So speaking of biking and things being a wrap…
Prodigal Husband Returns
My husband has been gone for three months(!) working on Gordon Ramsey’s television show Hell’s Kitchen. He arrived home today. All done! Yipee! Anyone working on these shows signs NDAs so, of course, I never hear anything interesting that isn’t public. But maybe you heard that Gordon got into a really bad cycling accident during the shoot? Ugh. Anyhow, the show went on and they finished. I’m just passing along Gordon Ramsey’s post in case you didn’t hear because it’s a good reminder to be careful and wear a helmet.

I had something entirely different planned for this week, but I decided to save it for next week when I’ll hopefully have a bit more time to concentrate. Hope you’re well and persisting on!
